LeBron James joined the Heat in 2010. He changed Miami from a B-team to a grade-A shoe in for the finals. And they did just that. Until 2014, every season with LeBron brought the Heat to the NBA finals- winning two championships while they were there.
Now that is over. LeBron has returned to his hometown of Cleveland: forming a new big three featuring Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. Leaving the Heat in a rut scrambling to keep their remaining two stars of Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. And even that wasn’t enough to save their season; the Heat currently hold a record of 13-16 holding the 7th seed in the Eastern conference.
Of course that was until Christmas day where Erik Spoelstra and the Heat were reunited with LeBron in a game that turned from a marketing ploy to a massive upset with the Heat emerging victorious 101-91.
